We obtained the azo‐imine ligand (2,2′‐[4‐(5‐methoxy salicylidene‐4‐iminophenylazo)phenylimino]diethanol) (HL) and its Cu (II) complex (CuL) from the ethanol solution. The complex Cu(L)2 was obtained as single crystals from the CH3OH solution and structurally characterized. The electronic and photoluminescence properties of the ligand and its Cu (II) complex were investigated both in DMF solution and solid state. The oxidation and reduction behaviours of the compounds were studied in the solution and found that the redox processes are irreversible. Thermal studies show that the ligand has higher thermal stability than the CuL complex. Single crystals of the complex were obtained from slow evaporation of a DMF solution of the complex. Crystals of the complex showed a diffraction pattern; however, the structure of the complex was able to be solved. 相似文献

Natural resources are not infinitely resilient and should not be modeled as being such. Finitely resilient resources feature tipping points and history dependence. This paper provides a didactical discussion of mathematical methods that are needed to understand the optimal management of such resources: viscosity solutions of Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman equations, the costate equation and the associated canonical equations, exact root counting, and geometrical methods to analyze the geometry of the invariant manifolds of the canonical equations. Recommendations for Resource Managers
- Management of natural resources has to take into account the possible breakdown of resilience and induced regime shifts.
- Depending on the characteristics of the resource and on its present and future economic importance, either for all initial states the same kind of management policy is optimal, or the type of the optimal management policy depends on the initial state.

Area under ROC curve (AUC) is a performance measure for classification models. We propose new distributionally robust AUC models (DR-AUC) that rely on the Kantorovich metric and approximate AUC with the hinge loss function, and derive convex reformulations using duality. The DR-AUC models outperform deterministic AUC and support vector machine models and have superior worst-case out-of-sample performance, thereby showing their robustness. The results are encouraging since the numerical experiments are conducted with small-size training sets conducive to low out-of-sample performance. 相似文献
